The Media and Society Foundation has supported a quality check-up at the Romanian Television Society TVR.

First step in a compliance building process with the 25 requirements of the ISAS BCP 9001 international management standard, it gives to the management of the television a clear idea about the strengths and weaknesses of its current internal organization and what should be improved.

Established in 1956, the Societatea Românǎ de Televiziune (Romanian Television Society, TVR)  is the national state-owned public service television broadcaster of Romania. With 3300 employees operating six channels (TVR1, TVR2, TVR3, TVR Cultural, TVR Info, TVRi and TVR HD) in six different locations (Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iaşi, Timişoara, Craiova and Târgu Mureş), TVR offers a wide variety of programmes, including webcasts and international viewing.
